Why Hello There!

Feb 23, 2018

Welcome to our very first blog! Here you’ll find all of our favourite wedding inspiration, hints and tips for your big day, and a little insight into our lives as we embark on our business venture! To start, we thought it would be nice to tell you a little about ourselves and what we do….

Our Story So Far….

We broke into the events scene just two short years ago, Sam was working for a fantastic marquee company Posh Frocks & Wellies, (definitely check them out if funky tents are your thing) and saw there was a gap in the furniture hire market. Cue masses of research, bulk buying Chairs, and our little garage overflowing with Tables and Benches! With Posh Frocks firmly behind us it wasn’t long before we had our first job, and Cestrian Event Hire was born.

Our first job out on our own! Wooden Folding Chairs at Eccleston Village Hall.

Since then we have travelled the width and breadth of the country, being lucky enough to visit an array of the most breath-taking venues, and liaising with some wonderful, likeminded businesses – some of which we are proud to now call our partners! There have been so many highlights over the past two years, our favourites are most definitely showcasing our furniture at one of the biggest and best (yes, we are biased) Wedding Fayres in the UK, and finally moving out of our garage and into our first permanent unit!

Our stand at this years Tatton Park Wedding Show! Which we are proud to say was a huge success.

With a little determination, a lot of hard work, and a dash of puppy power, Cestrian has grown from strength to strength, and is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon! We cannot wait to see what’s in store for the future!!

Our mascot Reggie! Proving puppy power really does get the job done!

Best Wishes,

C.E.H xx
